Feb 1, 2022
Have you ever chosen a word of the year? That word you use to guide your decision-making and hit your personal goals before the clock strikes 12 on New Year’s Eve? I’m not a big fan of those words, mainly because I think they look good on social media but they rarely translate to action.
At The Lean Out Method, instead of choosing a word, we choose a themed intention, and then we set out to achieve that intention by putting in place strategies and systems that are aligned with the vision we have for ourselves, our business and our clients.
In 2021 the themed intention at The Lean Out Method was “Inspired Growth.” From a high level perspective a lot had to change in order for us to achieve that desired growth, but the biggest change came when I made the decision to focus exclusively on my entrepreneurial clients, removing all corporate clients (about 80% of my workload) from my schedule. You can hear more about this big bold business move in Episode 25 of The Lean Out Your Business Podcast.
Last year our theme was inspired growth and our goal was to match the revenue that came in from my corporate clients. I’m proud to announce that we achieved that goal.
In 2022 our theme at The Lean Out Method is “simple, sustainable scaling.” If you joined us in 2021 and also adopted the theme of inspired growth then I’d love to invite you to adopt our 2022 theme as well. Why? Because if you, like us, just went through a season of inspired growth, you most likely spent a lot of time creating. The creative energy is fun, but it’s also messy. You most likely tried a bunch of different things to see what would work and there’s a good chance that not all of that is sustainable if you want to scale success and not noise.
If you want to join us in simple sustainable scaling this year, start by listening to this episode where Host, Crista Grasso, Founder of The Lean Out Method discusses:
